It was with deep sadness that I had to make the difficult decision to have my 10 year old cat put to sleep after weeks of vet visits, different medications and no cure to alleviate her pain and distress. With her passing and the sorrow that it gave me it reminded me of the Law of Polarity - that everything has an exact opposite. Persevere in Tough Times
While my wish for everyone is to have a joyful life - the reality is that life isn't always joyful. Disasters Happen. Life events happen that cause sadness. Our world isn't perfect and hence life is not always perfect either. Two days ago our beautiful city of Christchurch in New Zealand suffered a 6.2 earthquake that shook the city apart - both buildings and people. Although only a small country - we're just a dot really on the world map - our devastating news became worldwide news in milli-seconds. Patience and the Law of Polarity
In the past few weeks I've faced a few challenges that have made me practice patience - so it seems an appropriate topic to discuss and an excellent way to introduce you to the Law of Polarity that states that most things have two poles or an opposite. To begin with I damaged some ligaments in my right arm with a very bad golf shot. Having the use of only one arm and hand (my left and I am right handed) for the first few days was frustrating.
