Have you ever had a dream about really, really wanting to do something?Having the feeling that what you want is "perfect" for you? Knowing that this time it's so right you can't possibly fail - so you give it a go? If you're human I'm sure you've all experienced that and I hope that for the majority of you it turned out great! Persevere in Tough Times

While my wish for everyone is to have a joyful life - the reality is that life isn't always joyful.  Disasters Happen. Life events happen that cause sadness.  Our world isn't perfect and hence life is not always perfect either. Two days ago our beautiful city of Christchurch in New Zealand suffered a 6.2 earthquake that shook the city apart - both buildings and people. Although only a small country - we're just a dot really on the world map - our devastating news became worldwide news in milli-seconds. The Beauty of the Human Spirit

This past week has been an emotional roller coaster for me as I followed the unfolding story of the Pike River Mine explosion - and I know that I am not alone. The story that ended in tragedy on Wednesday afternoon with a second large explosion gripped our small country and seemed to affect every kiwi with a heart, regardless of whether we personally knew any of the miners or not. To begin I would like to convey my deepest sympathy to all the families and friends who have lost loved ones.
